June is International Black Heritage Month (IBHM), a platform to celebrate, educate, and champion unity of all shades across the Afro diaspora and Africa. It also connects and bridges the cultural observances and events of Juneteenth in the USA (June 19), Windrush Day in the UK (June 22), Portugal Day in Portugal (June 10), Keti Koti in Utrecht, Netherlands (June 30), and Youth Day, South Africa (June 16). Because media content helps us understand ourselves and the world around us, this channel is to celebrate, educate, and showcase narratives and cultures from our global society all year long!
